A dialogue platform where two group of participants from each participating country, consisting of government and non-government representatives engage in a candid policy-oriented discussion on climate change and policies.

Indonesia-Japan Track 1.5 Climate Dialogue 2023

The Track 1.5 Indonesia-Japan Climate Dialogue 2023 was a one-day closed-door forum aimed at fostering mutual understanding, exchanging policy insights, and sharing best practices on climate action between Indonesia and Japan. Bringing together think tank experts, civil society representatives, and government officials, the dialogue provided a platform for candid and constructive discussions on climate policies, climate financing, and bilateral climate cooperation.

Organized in collaboration with the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ) and held under the Chatham House Rule, the event encouraged honest, personal engagement on sensitive and strategic issues, laying the groundwork for deeper collaboration in tackling shared climate challenges.
